We are passing the "Tiger Torch" to Laurel for setting an example for her Pre-K peers. Laurel loves to learn and loves showing what she’s learned. She takes pride in everything she does and is a great friend to her classmates. She’s also a GREAT artist and very creative! Way to go, Laurel!

SISD is exploring the possibility of offering extended care for students who do not qualify for ACE for the 2024-2025 school year.
The program would follow the ACE calendar for days of operation. Programming would run from dismissal to 5:30 p.m. Students can be picked up, dismissed with walkers or ride the after school bus home. There is no penalty for attendance or early pick ups in paid programming.
Please fill out this survey by March 1st with your interest: https://bit.ly/3uFuHTC

Pre-K recently explored a unit on our community helpers. They ventured out on a field trip throughout town where they visited the fire station and police department among other stops. To conclude, our own Officer Koch visited with our little tiger cubs about his job as our resource officer and keeping us all safe. He chose several students to be his assistants for a day and deputized them, awarding them with a badge. An all girl squad from Kinder took the oath promising to set a good example of following the rules and be leaders on campus.

DRILL CONCLUDED - Thanks for your cooperation!
